Correa pulchella ‘COR13011’ Ember Chimes

Ember Chimes is a compact native shrub with dense foliage and lovely little bell-shaped blooms. Flowering occurs between autumn and late winter, when masses of dainty orange flowers cover the plant. The cool season flowers provide some very welcome colour, as well as nectar for pollinators.

Ember Chimes is a great choice for rockeries, small garden beds, or areas requiring low growing plants.

This cultivar prefers morning sun and can handle full sun or part shaded areas. Suited to most well drained soils, and as with many natives it has low water requirements and can tolerate dry periods well. With that said, long periods of low or no rain will necessitate some supplemental watering.

An initial feed of slow release general fertiliser will help the plant establish after planting. This can be followed with occasional fertilising as required to support growth. Benefits from some mulch around the base of the plant to help retain moisture and keep weeds suppressed.

Full sun/part shade. Frost tolerant. Suitable for coastal and inland locations.

Height: 50 – 75 cm. Width: 50 cm.

Part of the Correa Chimes Range from Bush Magik.
