Paeonia lactiflora ‘Monsieur Jules Elie’ – Herbaceous Peony
An old fashioned favourite and one of the most popular blooms for the cut flower trade.
The extra large bomb-type blooms are beautiful, highly fragrant, and are coloured in a light rose-pink that has an opalescent sheen.
This variety was bred in 1888 by Felix Crousse of France and has truly stood the test of time.
Tall stems grow up to 90cm high over dark green foliage.
Flowers mid-to-late in the season.
Recipient of an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
