A species Hot Poker from South Africa. A great reliable winter flowering species is sarmentosa dormant during the Summer months of all foliage, springing to life with its soft strappy foliage when the first rain appears. Blooms have thin spikes of red orange that are produced to 1 metre high all through Winter and into the first two weeks of Spring.
