Lion’s Ear – Cape Hemp – Lion’s Tail
This fantastic plant always amazes me with its spectacular blooms of bright orange, it ticks the box of interesting plant! which can suit any garden. This plant forms a shrub to 1.5 meters tall and 1 meter wide and grows best in a sunny open position this plant is also slightly frost sensitive and frosts will burn the tops back it is always a good idea to cut back plant at the start of spring and treat it more like a perennial plant as this promotes strong new flowering stems in the summer months.
