Red Monkey Flower – Syn. Mimulus aurantiacus
This is a rare red form Diplacus aurantiacus, commonly known as the Monkey Flower or Jelly Bean plant. This hardy subshrub is native to North America, in particular Oregon and California. A free flowering plant that blooms over a long flowering summer season and grows to 1 meter, with soft mid green leaves that are sticky to the touch. Best planted in a sunny position with some protection from wind.
