Prunus salicina x armeniaca ‘Flavor Supreme’ – Interspecific Plum
Plum x Apricot ‘Flavor Supreme’ is a cross between a plum and an apricot, and part of the new generation of traditionally bred fruit trees.
Fruit has a bright, rich, and very sweet flavour. Skin is mottled maroon over a green ground colour. Flesh is pinkish-red to dark red, juicy, and moderately firm.
Requires pollination to bear fruit, and ‘Mariposa’ is a suitable pollination partner.
