Golden Currant, Yellow Flowering Currant
This is the yellow flowering currant which has fragrant bright yellow flowers in spring on an open deciduous shrub that has foliage like a clove leaf this plant is also known as the clove currant hence the leaf description to me it looks more like that of a Ginko biloba plant. Leaves turn yellow in autumn adding some extra colour on a shrub to 1.2 meters.
Berries are edible, but bitter.
