A smaller form of the more widely known Pineapple Sage, with super fragrant melon-scented foliage and brilliant red tubular flowers. One of best plants to attract honeyeaters, blooming between November and May.

Flowers and foliage are edible, often used in refreshing summer drinks. The flowers also make a lovely garnish.

A perfect choice for smaller spaces or containers, and makes a stunning addition to edible gardens.

Part-sun or full sun. Suited to a wide variety of soils and can handle both dry and moist conditions. Needs some shelter from frosts.

Grows to 60-90cm high, 50-100cm spread.
