Chinese Snowball

Viburnum macrocephalum, commonly called Chinese Snowball, is a truly stunning variety and not commonly found for sale due to it’s rarity in Australian gardens. The large mop head of pure white flowers found slightly hanging above and in the foliage. Flower heads start out with a green hue and open to a simple pure white, with abundant florets, resembling that of a snowball or a huge Hydrangea flower. This semi-deciduous shrub is best grown in full sun or light shade, and well drained position with slightly acidic soils rich in organic matter. Height to 2-3 metres and 2.5 metres wide.
